CVC Communications Agency, in conjunction with its in-house production arm VCR Active Media, recently concluded production of a 5 minute video for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), en.lighten initiative.
The en.lighten initiative has been established to accelerate global market transformation to environmentally sustainable lighting by developing a coordinated global strategy and providing technical support for the phase-out of inefficient lighting technologies. The purpose of the video is to increase the awareness of decision-makers and stakeholders on the benefits of the transition to energy efficient lighting products for meeting the energy climate change challenge, and to convince leaders to take action.
The video will be used across a variety of media channels including social networks, presentations, events and on the home page of the initiative’s website at www.enlighten-initiative.org. Incorporating testimonial interviews, live action, music and titling; the video will serve as a vehicle to build awareness of the en.lighten initiative with governments, international organizations and civil society.
“Using  video as a communications vehicle is an excellent way to get our message across. It appeals to our audience and can be used in a variety of ways – from opening presentations to events and workshops.  The company did a very good job and I am pleased with the  end result. The team at CVC is personable, competent and very creative.”                               - Laura Fuller, Communications Officer, en.lighten initiative,                        United Nations Environment Programme
